Out of Bounds - Beyond all boundary hedges, fences and white posts
Water Hazards - a) Water hazards are marked with yellow posts, b) Lateral water hazards are marked with red posts
Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24-2) - All pop-up sprinkler heads, distance markers, tarmac buggy paths, Worcestershire Way markers, bridges and railings are immovable obstructions. Where relief is taken the ball may be lifted without penalty, and dropped in accordance with Rule 24-2
H.V. Electric Pylons - A ball striking the overhead wires or pylons on the 5th fairway must br replayed as near as possible to the spot from where the original shot was last played, without penalty
Stones in Bunkers - Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions, Rule 24-1
G.U.R. - In any areas marked G.U.R. the player must take relief as provided in Rule 25-1 without penalty. G.U.R. will be marked by white lines. Play is prohibited from these areas.
Flower Beds - All flower beds are deemed G.U.R. Flower beds will be defined as plants where the surrounding grass is edged and bark is placed under it. Play is prohibited from these areas.
Protection of Stream - In order to protect the liner of the stream on the 18th play is prohibited from within the hazard. Relief under penalty must be taken on all occasions.
Accidental Movement of a Ball on the Putting Green - When a player’s ball lies on the putting green, there is no penalty if the ball or ball-marker is accidentally moved by the player, his partner, his opponent, or any of their caddies or equipment. The moved ball or ball-marker must be replaced as provided in Rules 18-2, 18-3 and 20-1.
15th Dropping Zone - If a ball is in or it is known or virtually certain that a ball that has not been found is in the water hazard/ditch, the player may: (i) proceed under Rule 26-1; or (ii) as an additional option, drop a ball, under penalty of one stroke, in the dropping zone.
Embedded Ball - Through the green, a ball that is embedded may be lifted, cleaned and dropped, without penalty, as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole. The ball when dropped must first strike a part of the course through the green.
